HeatGear is Under Armour's original performance base layer. It's designed to keep athletes cool, light, and more comfortable than they thought possible. The fabric wicks sweat from the skin to the surface of the garment, where it can evaporate.
Yes, the breathable polyester and moisture-wicking properties make it suitable for a wide range of activities, from cardio to strength training and team sports.
Refer to the Under Armour sizing chart for accurate measurements. This particular model has a slim fit, so if you prefer a looser feel, consider sizing up.
While primarily designed for warm conditions or intense workouts, it can serve as a base layer in colder weather to help manage moisture.
The shirt is primarily made of polyester.
Machine wash cold with like colors, use non-chlorine bleach only if needed, and tumble dry on low. Avoid iron and fabric softeners.
Ensure you have selected the correct size. If the fit is still too snug for your preference, consider trying the next size up or reviewing the specific fit guide for this model.
Check that fabric softeners were not used during washing. Fabric softeners can clog the microfibers responsible for wicking sweat. Wash again with a mild detergent and no fabric softener.
Ensure washing and drying instructions are followed precisely. Washing with abrasive items or high heat drying can cause premature wear. Consider using a mesh laundry bag for washing.
Setup: This is a ready-to-wear garment. No setup is required.
Compatibility: Designed for adult males. The slim fit is compatible with most athletic builds. This shirt pairs well with other Under Armour HeatGear products and standard athletic bottoms.
