Crafted from shiny polyester-nylon twill, this piece offers a balance of warmth and technical functionality, featuring a 700-fill power duck down insulation and a water-repellent finish. It is water-repellent, meaning it can handle light rain and snow, but it is not fully waterproof for heavy or sustained precipitation.
Since this style is slim-fit, we recommend checking your measurements against the size chart. If you plan to layer thick sweaters underneath, you may consider sizing up.
It is safer to use a professional cleaner. If you wash at home, use a front-loading machine, mild down-safe detergent, and a very gentle cycle.
This jacket features 700 fill power duck down, which offers a high degree of warmth and loft.
No, the hood is fixed but features an adjustable drawstring to provide a secure fit against the wind.
This is Parajumpers' categorization for garments designed for cool climates, offering a balance between breathability and insulation.
This is common with down garments; gently pull the feather back into the jacket from the inside and rub the fabric to reseal the weave.
Tumble dry the jacket on low heat with clean tennis balls for 20-30 minutes to redistribute the down and restore loft.
Ensure no fabric is trapped in the track and wipe the zipper teeth with a clean, dry cloth; do not force the zipper if resistance is felt.
Because this jacket features high-quality duck down, proper maintenance is essential for long-term performance. Always consult the care label inside the garment before cleaning. Generally, it is recommended to professional dry clean the jacket to preserve the down-proof coating and technical fabrics. If you must wash it at home, use a front-loading machine on a delicate cycle with down-specific detergent, and tumble dry on low with tennis balls to restore the loft of the down. Ensure the jacket is completely dry to prevent odors or clumping. Store in a cool, dry place on a wide hanger to maintain the shape of the hood and shoulders.
