The ASICS Gel-Kayano 14 is designed for adults seeking a perfect blend of late-2000s retro aesthetics and contemporary comfort. These trainers are ideal for everyday wear, offering superior cushioning and structural support for long days on your feet; however, users should note that while they offer excellent stability, they are primarily lifestyle-oriented rather than high-performance marathon racing shoes.

While they are performance-minded, they are currently marketed as lifestyle trainers; they are excellent for walking and casual wear, but dedicated runners may prefer newer, specialized performance models.
The Gel-Kayano 14 typically fits true to size. If you usually wear a standard size in ASICS, you should select that same size.
Yes, the insoles are removable, allowing you to insert custom orthotics if necessary.
No, the shoes are designed with breathable mesh components and are not waterproof.
The Gel-Kayano 14 focuses on the classic late-2000s design language, whereas newer models in the series incorporate the latest advancements in foam technology and lightweight materials.
The Gel-Kayano 14 requires a brief 'break-in' period; wear them for shorter durations for the first 2-3 days to allow the midsole to adapt to your foot shape.
The laces are designed for a retro look; ensure a double knot or use a runner's loop if you require a more secure fit during active use.
To ensure the longevity of your Gel-Kayano 14 trainers, keep them away from direct heat sources that can warp the midsole foam. For routine cleaning, wipe the mesh and synthetic upper with a damp cloth and mild soap; avoid machine washing or tumble drying, as these can degrade the adhesive bonds and damage the GEL units. Because these are true-to-size, standard sizing is recommended, though those who prefer a thicker sock may consider moving up a half size. Store in a cool, dry place to prevent yellowing of the materials over time.
