The ECCO Yucatan sandals are designed for active adults who need a versatile footwear solution for light hiking, travel, and daily outdoor use. These sandals offer superior comfort through their three-point adjustable straps and molded EVA footbed, providing a secure, tailored fit for varying foot shapes. While they are highly durable and comfortable for long-distance walking, the non-removable footbed means users should be mindful of keeping the interior clean and dry to maintain hygiene over extended periods.

While the Yucatan is made with durable materials suitable for outdoor use, the leather uppers are not fully waterproof. They can handle splashes, but should be dried thoroughly after exposure.
We recommend avoiding salt water, as the salt can degrade the leather components and potentially affect the adhesive used in the construction of the footbed.
There are three hook and loop closures located at the heel, ankle, and across the forefoot. Adjust each one individually to achieve your desired level of comfort and security.
They are ideal for light hiking, travel, and day trips. For extreme, high-altitude, or technical mountain climbing, a closed-toe hiking boot is recommended.
The interior is lined with microfiber. Use a damp cloth with a tiny amount of mild, neutral soap, then allow the footbed to air dry completely.
Check the hook and loop fasteners for lint, thread, or debris. Use a small brush or tweezers to clean out the fibers to restore grip.
Wipe the microfiber-lined footbed with a damp cloth and mild soap to remove oils or accumulated debris that may cause it to lose friction.
Use a nubuck-specific brush to lift the nap of the leather and restore its original texture.
Setting up the Yucatan sandals is straightforward: begin by loosening all three hook and loop straps. Place your foot into the footbed, then tighten the heel strap first to anchor your foot, followed by the ankle strap, and finally the forefoot strap for a secure lockdown.
