Full details
The ASICS Gel-Task 4 Trainers are designed for adult athletes who require reliable stability and responsive cushioning during indoor court activities such as handball. These shoes offer a significant performance advantage through their specialized rubber grip and GEL shock absorption, though users should note they are strictly engineered for indoor use rather than outdoor or rough-terrain environments.

FAQs
Are these shoes suitable for outdoor handball?
No, the Gel-Task 4 is specifically engineered with an outsole designed for indoor court surfaces.
Can I use these for running?
While they provide cushioning, they are designed for court agility and lack the features required for long-distance road running.
How do I clean the trainers?
Use a soft brush or damp cloth to wipe the exterior. Avoid machine washing, as this can damage the adhesives and cushioning materials.
Do these shoes provide arch support?
Yes, the structured upper design is built to provide midfoot support during lateral movements.
Is the sizing true to standard UK sizes?
Yes, these shoes are designed to standard UK adult sizing, though it is recommended to allow for a small amount of room for movement.
Troubleshooting
Slipping on the court surface
Wipe the outsole with a damp cloth to remove accumulated dust or court wax that can reduce traction.
Discomfort or pinching during play
Verify that your lacing system isn't too tight across the midfoot, as the structured upper is designed to provide natural support.

Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure the longevity of your ASICS Gel-Task 4 trainers, follow these guidelines:
- Fit: Ensure you are wearing the appropriate size for your foot shape; the structured upper should feel snug but not restrictive.
- Surface Usage: Use only on indoor wood or composite court surfaces. Avoid using these shoes on concrete or gravel, as the soft rubber outsole will wear down rapidly.
- Cleaning: Wipe away dust and court debris with a damp cloth after each use to maintain grip.
- Storage: Keep in a cool, dry place. Do not leave them in direct sunlight or inside a hot car, as this can degrade the midsole cushioning materials.
