Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure your Peregrine 16 GTX remains in top condition, follow these guidelines:
- Break-in Period: While flexible, take them on a few shorter runs before committing to a long-distance excursion to ensure the fit is perfect for your foot shape.
- Cleaning: After muddy runs, rinse the outsole with a soft brush and water. If the uppers get dirty, wipe them down with a damp cloth. Avoid harsh detergents that could degrade the GORE-TEX membrane.
- Drying: Never place your trainers directly on a radiator or near a high-heat source, as this can damage the structural integrity of the cushioning and the waterproofing. Always air-dry naturally at room temperature with the insoles removed.
- Storage: Keep your shoes in a cool, dry area away from direct sunlight, which can cause the upper materials to fade or become brittle over time.
