Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
These running spikes come with pre-inserted spikes. Ensure they are securely fastened before your first run. For optimal performance and to comply with competition rules, always check the length and type of spikes allowed in your specific event.
Compatibility:
Designed primarily for use on synthetic athletics tracks. They are not suitable for road running, trail running, or general gym training due to the spike plate and aggressive grip.
Care:
- Cleaning: After each use, gently brush off any dirt or debris from the outsole and upper. Use a damp cloth to wipe down the exterior if necessary. Avoid using harsh detergents or solvents.
- Drying: Allow the spikes to air dry naturally at room temperature. Do not place them near direct heat sources like radiators or in a tumble dryer, as this can damage the materials and adhesives.
- Storage: Store in a cool, dry place, preferably in a shoe bag to protect them from dust and damage. Ensure they are completely dry before storing to prevent mildew.
