FAQs
What type of light bulb does this lamp use?
The Task Ceramic Table Lamp typically uses a standard screw-in bulb (E27 base). Please refer to the product specifications or the lamp's label for the maximum wattage and recommended bulb type (e.g., LED, incandescent) to ensure compatibility and safe operation.
How do I adjust the position of the shade and arm?
The shade can be swiveled and angled, and the arm can be moved to various positions. Gently manipulate the components to your desired setting. Most adjustment points have screws or knuckles that can be tightened or loosened to hold the position.
Is this lamp suitable for a child's room?
While the design is classic, ensure the lamp is placed on a stable surface and out of reach of young children to prevent tipping or accidental damage. Consider the bulb type for heat generation.
What is the warranty period for this lamp?
Warranty information is typically provided by the retailer or manufacturer at the point of sale. Please check your purchase documentation or contact Original BTC for specific warranty details.
Can I get replacement parts, such as the shade?
Replacement parts may be available directly from Original BTC or authorized retailers. It is recommended to contact customer support with your product details to inquire about availability.
What does 'bone china shade' mean for the light quality?
Bone china is known for its translucency and strength. A bone china shade diffuses light softly, creating a warm and inviting glow while still allowing for directed illumination where needed.
How do I clean the ceramic shade?
Unplug the lamp. Use a soft, dry cloth to dust the shade regularly. For more thorough cleaning, use a slightly damp cloth, avoiding any harsh chemicals or abrasive materials that could damage the ceramic finish.
Troubleshooting
Lamp does not turn on
Ensure the lamp is securely plugged into a working power outlet. Check if the light bulb is screwed in correctly and is not burnt out. Try a different light bulb.
Light flickers intermittently
Check the bulb connection to ensure it is tight. If the issue persists, the bulb may be faulty or nearing the end of its life. Replace the bulb. Ensure the power supply is stable.
Arm or shade does not hold position
Gently tighten the adjustment screws or joints located on the arm and at the base of the shade. Avoid overtightening, which could damage the components.
Surface finish appears inconsistent
This may be a characteristic of the hand-crafted process. If the inconsistency is significant or undesirable, contact customer support.
