A versatile heavy duty coach screw with a hex flange head, serving as a modern replacement for traditional DIN 571 coach screws. It features an aggressive slash point tip for easy driving and reduced splitting, making it suitable for softwood, hardwood, man-made board, or masonry (with a nylon plug). The screw is zinc plated and yellow passivated for improved corrosion resistance. Applications include framing, landscaping, decking, fencing, stairs, roofing, gazebos, pergolas, and sleepers. It complies with BS EN 14592:2008 and is rated for corrosion resistance in occasionally damp or wet, rural, and sheltered areas.
