FAQs

What are the dimensions of the bag?

The bag measures 56cm x 32cm x 28cm.

Is the bag waterproof?

The material is hardwearing and water-resistant, protecting contents from light rain, but it should not be submerged.

Can I fit frozen bait packs inside?

Yes, the thermal lining is designed to hold temperature, making it suitable for frozen bait, especially when used with additional ice packs.

Does it come with a shoulder strap?

Yes, it features a padded shoulder strap as well as standard carry handles.

Are the zippers corrosion resistant?

The branded zips are designed for fishing environments, though they should be rinsed if exposed to salt water or mud.

Troubleshooting

Zip becomes stiff or difficult to close

Clear any debris or bait particles from the zip teeth and apply a light silicone-based lubricant if necessary.

Interior odor accumulation

Wipe out the thermal lining with a mixture of mild soap and water, then allow it to air dry fully with the bag left open.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Superior thermal insulation for bait longevity
Reinforced stress points increase product lifespan
Large capacity perfect for long sessions
Multiple pockets allow for organized storage of accessories
Padded carry points make heavy loads easier to manage

Cons

Larger size may not fit into smaller tackle barrows
Requires regular cleaning of the interior lining
Heavier than standard bait bags when fully loaded

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To maximize the life of your bag, ensure the thermal interior is wiped down with a damp cloth after every session to prevent residue build-up or odors. When storing, keep the zips closed to prevent dust from entering the compartments. The bag is compatible with most standard fishing trolleys and fits neatly within the luggage requirements of most commercial fisheries. Avoid overloading the external pockets with sharp tools, as this can compromise the outer fabric. Store the bag in a cool, dry place when not in use to ensure the thermal lining retains its insulating properties over time.
