FAQs

Are these shoes true to size?

Yes, they generally follow standard Converse sizing conventions for adults.

Can I put these in the washing machine?

It is recommended to hand clean with a damp cloth; machine washing may damage the adhesive and canvas structure.

Is the material waterproof?

No, the heavyweight canvas is not waterproof and may absorb water in heavy rain.

What is the primary material?

The upper is constructed from durable heavyweight cotton canvas.

Does the OrthoLite insole come out?

Yes, the insole is typically removable for cleaning or replacement with custom orthotics.

Troubleshooting

Laces feel loose or slip frequently

Ensure the wide flat laces are pulled tight at every eyelet; double-knotting may be required due to the size of the eyelets.

Canvas appears dirty or stained

Use a soft brush or cloth with mild detergent to gently scrub the canvas; allow it to air dry naturally.

Insole feels less supportive over time

Remove the OrthoLite insole, brush away any trapped debris, and allow it to air out to regain its structure.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Enhanced comfort with OrthoLite insoles
Durable heavyweight canvas construction
Bold, unique 90s-inspired visual details
Reliable grip from the vulcanized rubber outsole

Cons

Oversized eyelets require careful lacing
Canvas material may be stiffer during initial break-in
Beige colorway may show dirt more easily than darker alternatives

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To achieve the best fit, ensure the wide flat laces are tensioned evenly through the oversized eyelets to prevent slippage. When cleaning your trainers, use a damp cloth with mild soap to wipe the canvas upper; avoid submerging them in water or using harsh chemicals that could discolor the material. Air dry the shoes away from direct heat sources to maintain the integrity of the vulcanized rubber sole. Store them in a cool, dry place when not in use to prevent material degradation.
