FAQs

Are these shoes true to size?

Yes, the Nike Air Max 90 generally fits true to size for most adults, though those with wider feet may prefer to go up a half size.

Can I use these for intense sports?

While they are rooted in running heritage, they are optimized for lifestyle and casual wear rather than high-intensity sports or technical performance running.

How do I keep the white leather clean?

Wipe them down after every use with a soft cloth and consider using a leather-safe water and stain repellent spray.

Does the Air unit ever leak?

The Air units are highly durable and designed to last the life of the shoe. Avoid walking on sharp objects that could puncture the sole.

Are these suitable for wet weather?

The leather upper provides some protection against light moisture, but they are not waterproof and should be dried properly if they get wet.

Troubleshooting

Creasing in the leather upper

This is a natural occurrence in leather shoes. Use a shoe tree when not in use to help maintain the shape and minimize deep creases.

Scuffs on the white finish

Use a specialized leather cleaner or a magic eraser sponge for light scuffs. Always test on an inconspicuous area first.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Iconic, timeless design fits various styles
Excellent long-term comfort for extended wear
Durable leather construction resists daily wear and tear
Reliable traction provided by the signature Waffle outsole

Cons

Leather material may feel stiff initially
White colourways require diligent cleaning to maintain appearance
Limited ventilation compared to mesh-heavy trainers

Setup, Compatibility & Care

For the best fit, ensure you are wearing socks of appropriate thickness, as the leather upper offers less stretch than knit fabrics. To clean your trainers, wipe the leather surface with a damp cloth and mild soap; avoid soaking the material, as this can damage the leather finish. If the outsole accumulates dirt, a soft-bristled brush can be used to clear debris from the Waffle pattern. Always store in a cool, dry place away from direct heat sources to prevent the leather from cracking.
