Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: Assembly is required for the Enders Hyde 4. Follow the included instruction manual carefully. Ensure all connections are secure before first use. Typically, a Phillips head screwdriver and a wrench are needed. It is recommended to have two people for certain assembly steps.
Compatibility: This gas barbecue is designed to be used with standard propane (LPG) gas cylinders. Ensure your gas cylinder is compatible with the regulator provided and that the regulator is securely attached. Check local regulations for gas cylinder types and connections.
Care:
- Grates: Clean the SWITCH GRID™ cast iron grates after each use once they have cooled. Use a stiff brush or scraper to remove food residue. Season the grates with cooking oil periodically to prevent rust.
- Burners: Periodically check burner ports for blockages and clean them gently with a soft brush or needle.
- Exterior: Wipe down the stainless steel surfaces with a mild detergent and a soft cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners.
- Interior: Clean the inside of the cooking hood and the grease tray regularly to prevent flare-ups and maintain performance.
- Storage: Cover the barbecue when not in use to protect it from the elements. Store in a dry, well-ventilated area.
