Yes, the iPhone XR has an IP67 rating under IEC standard 60529, meaning it is splash, water, and dust resistant. It can withstand submersion up to 1 meter for 30 minutes, but it is not waterproof and should not be intentionally submerged or exposed to pressurized water.
No, the internal storage of the iPhone XR (128 GB in this model) cannot be expanded. You can use iCloud storage for additional cloud-based storage for photos, videos, and documents.
The iPhone XR uses a Lightning cable for charging and data transfer. It also supports wireless charging via any Qi-certified wireless charger.
No, like most modern iPhones, the iPhone XR does not feature a traditional 3.5mm headphone jack. You will need to use Lightning headphones, Bluetooth headphones, or a Lightning to 3.5mm adapter.
100% battery health indicates that the battery is performing at its optimal capacity, providing the maximum possible battery life as designed by the manufacturer. It means the battery has not degraded from its original charge capacity.
No, the Apple iPhone XR supports 4G LTE networks, but it does not have the hardware required for 5G connectivity. It will still provide fast internet speeds on compatible 4G networks.
Ensure the battery isn't completely depleted. Connect your iPhone to a charger for at least 30 minutes. If it still doesn't turn on, try a force restart: Press and quickly release the Volume Up button, then press and quickly release the Volume Down button, then press and hold the Side button until you see the Apple logo.
Close background apps by swiping up from the bottom of the screen (or double-pressing the Home button if applicable) and swiping up on app previews. Ensure your iOS is up to date and that individual apps are updated to their latest versions from the App Store. If issues persist, try restarting your iPhone.
Check battery usage in Settings > Battery to identify apps consuming the most power. Disable background app refresh for non-essential apps (Settings > General > Background App Refresh). Reduce screen brightness, enable Low Power Mode, and ensure all software is up to date.
For Wi-Fi, try forgetting the network (Settings > Wi-Fi > 'i' icon > Forget This Network) and reconnecting. Restart your router. For 4G, toggle Airplane Mode on and off (Settings > Airplane Mode). Ensure your cellular data is enabled. If problems persist, contact your carrier.
Ensure your face is clearly visible and not obstructed by masks, glasses, or hats (unless set up with these items). Clean the TrueDepth camera area at the top of the screen. Go to Settings > Face ID & Passcode and ensure Face ID is set up correctly. You may need to reset Face ID and set it up again.
