These shorts are designed for kids, specifically the size Small corresponds to approximately 7-8 years old.
The UA Tech™ fabric generally offers good moisture management, making them suitable for warm conditions. However, for extreme heat, performance-specific cooling fabrics might offer additional benefits.
It's recommended to consult the Under Armour youth sizing chart and measure the child's waist and inseam if possible. The 'S' size is listed as UK children's size 7-8.
While the material is durable, these shorts are designed as athletic wear and not specifically as swimwear. They may not offer the same quick-drying or chlorine-resistant properties as dedicated swim trunks.
UA Tech™ typically refers to Under Armour's standard performance fabric designed for comfort, softness, and efficient moisture-wicking to help keep athletes dry.
The product description does not specify pockets. Standard athletic shorts of this type may not include them to maintain a streamlined fit and reduce weight.
Machine wash cold with similar colors, use non-chlorine bleach only if needed, and tumble dry on low heat. Avoid ironing and fabric softeners.
Ensure you have selected the correct size based on the child's measurements. Refer to the Under Armour sizing chart for youth apparel. If the fit is still not right, consider the next size up or a different fit type if available.
Follow the care instructions precisely. Avoid using fabric softeners, high heat for drying, or harsh detergents, as these can degrade the polyester fibers over time.
Wash the shorts inside out in cold water. Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight when drying.
Setup: These shorts require no setup. They are ready to wear upon purchase.
Compatibility: Designed for male youth (kids) aged approximately 7-8 years for size S. Compatible with various athletic tops and footwear.
Care Instructions: To maintain the quality and longevity of the shorts:
