The Merrell 1TRL Agility Peak 6 RPT is a premium trail-ready hiking shoe designed for hikers and outdoor enthusiasts who require a balance between high-speed performance and aesthetic refinement. Featuring durable Vibram outsole technology and responsive FloatPro foam, it offers exceptional grip and comfort on varied terrain; however, its specialized design may feel too stiff for casual, flat-ground walking.

The standard Agility Peak 6 RPT is designed for breathability. While durable, they are not inherently waterproof.
While technically possible, the aggressive lug pattern and stiff construction are optimized for trails and will wear down quickly on asphalt.
These shoes follow standard adult UK sizing. We recommend measuring your foot with a sock on and using the brand size chart for the best fit.
The integrated rock plate is designed to protect the forefoot while the FlexConnect midsole grooves maintain as much natural flexibility as possible.
Depending on usage, the cushioning and traction typically begin to degrade after 300 to 500 miles of rugged trail use.
Check your lacing tension and consider using a dedicated performance hiking sock to reduce friction.
Consider using trail gaiters to seal the gap between the collar and your lower leg.
Use a stiff-bristled brush to clear mud from between the lugs of the outsole.
To ensure the longevity of your Agility Peak 6 RPT, perform a break-in period on moderate trails before attempting long, challenging expeditions. Ensure the laces are adjusted to lock your heel in place without cutting off circulation. For care, remove loose dirt after each use using a soft brush. If the shoes become muddy, clean them with lukewarm water and a mild detergent. Always air-dry the shoes away from direct heat sources, such as radiators, as high temperatures can damage the bonding agents and foam structure.
