These Sealskinz Holverstone waterproof running socks are designed for adult runners seeking comfort and dryness in challenging conditions. Their key benefit is complete waterproofness combined with excellent breathability, thanks to the Aquasealz technology and bamboo lining. A potential caveat is that their specialized nature might feel different from standard running socks for some users.

While comfortable, these socks are specifically engineered for running performance in wet conditions. Their waterproof membrane and construction are optimized for athletic activity.
Refer to the sizing chart for Sealskinz products. The socks should fit snugly without being constrictive, with the mid-foot grip providing a secure hold.
These socks are designed for waterproofness and breathability. While they offer some insulation, they are not specifically designed as thermal socks for extreme cold. Layering may be necessary in very cold conditions.
With proper care, the waterproof membrane is designed for durability. Regular washing according to instructions helps maintain its performance.
This refers to a manufacturing process where seams are sewn by hand to be as flat and smooth as possible, significantly reducing the chance of irritation and blisters caused by rubbing.
Bamboo viscose provides excellent breathability, a soft feel, and natural antimicrobial properties that help reduce odor.
No, tumble drying can damage the waterproof membrane and the sock's integrity. They should be drip dried away from direct heat.
Ensure socks are properly seated and that the waterproof membrane is intact. Check for any damage to the material. Always ensure you are following the correct washing and drying instructions.
Over time, pores in the membrane can become blocked. Wash the socks according to care instructions. Avoid fabric softeners, which can impede breathability.
Ensure the mid-foot grip area is clean and dry. If the socks are worn out, the elastic may have lost its effectiveness.
Verify that the correct size is being worn. Ensure hand-linked seams are correctly aligned and that there are no external debris causing friction.
Setup: These are running socks and require no special setup. Simply wear them as you would any other pair of running socks.
Compatibility: Designed for adult runners, these ankle-length socks are compatible with most running shoes, particularly those suited for trail and cross-country running. They are available in unisex sizing.
