The shirt is made from high-quality corduroy, known for its durable texture and soft feel.
Wash inside out on a gentle, cold-water cycle and hang to air dry to maintain the fabric's integrity.
It is not recommended to tumble dry as it can damage the corduroy texture and cause unnecessary shrinkage.
The shirt is designed with a standard Stone Island fit, though it is always recommended to consult a size chart if you prefer a looser or more slim silhouette.
Regularly brushing the fabric with a soft-bristled brush will help keep the 'wales' (the ridges) of the corduroy standing upright and prevent matting.
While corduroy is traditionally associated with autumn and winter, the weight of this shirt makes it a versatile layering piece for various temperate conditions.
Use a soft-bristled garment brush or a lint roller designed for delicate fabrics to gently remove surface debris.
Avoid direct ironing on the corduroy surface. Use a handheld garment steamer from a short distance to lift the fibers and remove wrinkles.
Because of the delicate nature of corduroy, proper care is essential. Always check the internal care label for specific instructions. Generally, it is recommended to wash the shirt inside out on a gentle cycle with cold water to preserve the color and the pile of the fabric. Avoid high-heat tumble drying, as this can cause shrinkage or damage the texture; instead, hang the shirt to air dry in a shaded area. For storage, use a padded hanger to maintain the shape of the shoulders.
