Setup: Getting Started
- Lacing: Before your first use, ensure you properly lace up the boots. Start from the bottom eyelets and pull firmly, working your way up. Tie a secure knot to prevent loosening during play. A snug fit is crucial for ball control and support.
- Initial Wear: Like most new footwear, these boots may feel stiff initially. Wear them for short periods during training sessions to break them in gradually before a full match. This allows the HybridFeel upper to conform to your foot shape.
Compatibility: On the Pitch
These boots feature an FGMG (Firm Ground/Multi Ground) soleplate, making them suitable for:
- Firm Natural Grass (FG): Ideal for dry, natural grass pitches.
- Artificial Grass (MG): Also performs well on modern artificial turf surfaces.
Avoid using these boots on extremely hard ground, concrete, or indoor courts, as this can damage the soleplate and studs, and may lead to injury.
Care: Maintenance for Longevity
- Cleaning: After each use, especially on muddy pitches, clean the boots. Use a damp cloth to wipe off dirt and debris from the synthetic HybridFeel upper. For stubborn mud on the soleplate and studs, a soft brush can be used. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Drying: Allow the boots to air dry naturally at room temperature. Do not expose them to direct sunlight or use artificial heat sources (like radiators or hairdryers), as this can damage the materials and cause cracking or shrinkage.
- Storage: Store your boots in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight when not in use. Stuffing them with newspaper can help absorb moisture and maintain their shape.
