Full details
The Purely Home Melamine Side Plates are designed for households that enjoy outdoor dining and seek a durable alternative to fragile crockery. Their key benefit is providing the aesthetic of fine dining with the resilience of melamine, perfect for garden parties or picnics. A minor caveat is their unsuitability for microwave or oven use. This set includes eight 22cm plates featuring a white base with a green floral and butterfly design, crafted from melamine plastic with a reactive glazed finish that resists breakage, scratches, and chips.

Troubleshooting
Plates appear dull after washing
Ensure your dishwasher rinse aid dispenser is full and set correctly. Avoid harsh detergents that can strip the finish over time. Hand wash with mild soap if the issue persists.
Dishwasher not cleaning effectively
Check that the plates are placed correctly in the dishwasher, not overlapping too much. Ensure your dishwasher is functioning properly and use an appropriate detergent.
Scratches appear on the surface
While scratch-resistant, very heavy abrasion with sharp objects (like knives used directly on the plate) can cause marks. Use appropriate utensils and avoid cutting food directly on the plate.
