FAQs

What type of surface are these boots designed for?

These boots are specifically designed for artificial turf (TF) surfaces. The outsole is optimized for grip and agility on this type of pitch.

How do I clean the Nanostrike upper?

Wipe the upper gently with a damp cloth to remove dirt. For stubborn marks, use a mild soap solution and rinse with a clean, damp cloth. Always air dry.

Can I use these boots for other sports?

These boots are engineered for football on turf pitches. Their design and outsole may not be suitable or safe for use in other sports.

What is the benefit of the fold-over tongue?

The fold-over tongue creates a larger, cleaner surface area for striking the ball, enhancing accuracy and power transfer when shooting or passing.

Are these boots suitable for wide feet?

The boots feature a regular fit. While the lacing system allows for some adjustment, individuals with significantly wide feet may find them restrictive. Trying them on is recommended.

Do these boots offer good cushioning?

Yes, they feature Lightstrike midsole cushioning, which is designed to be lightweight and provide excellent responsiveness and impact absorption for agility.

What does 'TF' in TF football boots stand for?

'TF' stands for Turf, indicating that these boots are designed for use on artificial turf pitches.

Troubleshooting

Boots feel too tight or uncomfortable

Ensure the lacing is adjusted correctly. Allow for a break-in period, as the materials will adapt to your foot shape. If discomfort persists, consider if this is the correct size for your foot.

Traction is poor on the pitch

Verify that you are using the boots on the intended turf surface. Clean any mud or debris from the outsole studs, as blockages can impede traction.

Stitching appears loose

Inspect the stitching closely. Minor cosmetic looseness might not affect performance, but significant structural issues should be reported to customer support.

Water seeps into the boots

These boots are not designed to be waterproof. Avoid playing in extremely wet conditions if dryness is a priority. Ensure the tongue is properly secured to minimize entry points.

Pros and Cons

Pros

  • Enhanced striking accuracy and power due to Nanostrike technology and PowerSpine.
  • Lightweight and responsive cushioning provides excellent agility.
  • Designed for optimal performance on turf surfaces.
  • Comfortable fit with a secure lacing system and fold-over tongue.
  • Includes sustainable materials in its construction.

Cons

  • Specialized turf outsole limits use to turf pitches only.
  • May require a break-in period for optimal comfort.
  • Lacks the specialized stud patterns required for firm ground or artificial grass.
  • The fold-over tongue might not suit all player preferences.

Setup, Compatibility & Care Instructions

Setup:

  1. Lacing: Ensure the laces are threaded through the eyelets for a secure fit. The floating tongue design allows for easy step-in and adjustment.
  2. Fit Adjustment: Tighten laces to achieve a snug feel. The fold-over tongue can be secured with its fastening mechanism for a clean striking surface.

Compatibility:

  • These boots are specifically designed for turf (TF) surfaces. They are not recommended for firm ground, soft ground, or hard artificial pitches as the outsole stud configuration is optimized for turf.

Care:

  1. Cleaning: After each use, remove excess dirt and mud with a soft brush or damp cloth. Avoid using harsh detergents or abrasive cleaners.
  2. Drying: Allow the boots to air dry naturally at room temperature. Do not place them near direct heat sources like radiators or in direct sunlight, as this can damage the materials.
  3. Storage: Store the boots in a cool, dry place, preferably in a shoe bag, to protect them from dust and moisture.
  4. Laces: Inspect laces regularly for wear and tear. Clean them separately if necessary.
