How do I determine the correct size?

Measure the circumference of your head. The Sealskinz Beetley WP All Weather Head Gaiter is available in S/M (55-57 cm), L/XL (58-61 cm), and XXL (62-63 cm).

Can I use the gaiter in hot weather?

While the gaiter is breathable, it is designed primarily for colder conditions. In hot weather, it may be too warm; consider wearing it around your neck for sun and wind protection.

How do I wash my Sealskinz Beetley gaiter?

Machine wash at 30ºC/85ºF. Avoid using bleach, fabric softeners, or harsh detergents. Always drip dry; do not tumble dry.

What is the material of the gaiter?

The outer layer is made of 94% polyester and 6% elastane, with a 100% waterproof membrane in the middle and a microfleece liner inside.

What activities is the gaiter suitable for?

It is suitable for various outdoor activities, including skiing, trekking, mountain biking, mountaineering, and other high-intensity pursuits in wet and cold conditions.

How should I store the gaiter?

Store the gaiter in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.

Troubleshooting

Water is penetrating the gaiter.

Ensure the gaiter is clean and has been cared for correctly. Check for any damage or wear and tear, and replace if necessary. Avoid using harsh detergents, as they can damage the waterproof membrane.

Gaiter feels too warm.

Adjust the gaiter to allow for better ventilation. Consider wearing it around the neck instead of over the head. Adjust layering as needed to regulate body temperature.
