FAQs
What is the primary use for this Lindy Digital Audio Cable?
This cable is ideal for connecting digital audio sources like TVs, PCs, and DVD players to audio equipment such as AV amplifiers or digital surround sound setups, ensuring a clean digital signal transfer.
Is this cable suitable for analog audio signals?
While the connectors are standard RCA, the cable is optimized for digital audio signals. It can technically transmit analog signals, but its design and materials are intended to preserve the integrity of digital audio.
What does 'PVC and halogen-free' mean for this cable?
It means the cable's jacket and insulation are made without polyvinyl chloride (PVC) or halogens. This is an environmentally conscious choice, reducing the potential release of toxic substances during manufacturing or disposal.
How do I clean the gold-plated connectors?
Gently wipe the connectors with a dry, soft cloth. Avoid using abrasive materials or chemical cleaners, as these can damage the gold plating.
What is the warranty period for this cable?
This cable comes with a 10-year warranty, reflecting Lindy's commitment to quality and durability.
Can I use this cable to connect my turntable?
This cable is designed for digital audio (often labeled as 'Digital Coaxial' or 'SPDIF') or standard analog RCA connections. If your turntable requires a specific phono input or a different type of connection, this cable may not be suitable.
What is the cable diameter?
The cable has a diameter of 3 mm.
Troubleshooting
No audio output
Ensure both ends of the cable are securely plugged into the correct input and output ports. Verify that the source device's audio output is set to digital (if applicable) and that the playback device is set to the correct input channel. Check that the volume is not muted on either device.
Intermittent audio or static
Check the cable for any visible damage. Ensure the connectors are clean and free from obstructions. Try a different pair of RCA ports on your devices, or test with another cable to rule out a faulty connection or cable.
Cable is too stiff or difficult to connect
While designed for flexibility, ensure you are not forcing the connection. The connectors should insert smoothly. If resistance is met, check for any debris in the ports or on the connector pins.

Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: This cable is designed for Plug and Play operation. Compatibility: Compatible with any audio devices featuring standard RCA digital audio (coaxial) or analog audio inputs/outputs. It is suitable for connecting digital audio sources to home theater systems, hi-fi setups, and DJ equipment.
Care: To maintain optimal performance, keep the connectors clean and free from dust and debris. Avoid bending the cable sharply, especially near the connectors, to prevent internal wire damage.
