The Palissade Cord collection offers a refined take on Ronan Bouroullec’s iconic outdoor furniture...The Palissade Cord collection offers a refined take on Ronan Bouroullec’s iconic outdoor furniture, featuring a softer aesthetic while retaining the original's strong, graphic lines. Each piece is enveloped in handwoven recycled polyester cord, ensuring both durability and enhanced comfort. Designed for seamless integration into any outdoor setting, this collection includes dining armchairs, dining benches, lounge chairs, lounge sofas, and chaise longues, all available in colours that complement the existing Palissade range. The Palissade Cord series is ideal for outdoor dining, lounging, and social gatherings, pairing effortlessly with the broader Palissade collection. Built to withstand the elements, it's a stylish and practical choice for gardens, terraces, and patios. A custom Palissade Cover is also available for additional protection. Designed by Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec, the Palissade Cord collection beautifully merges contemporary minimalism with traditional craftsmanship. This sophisticated evolution of the beloved Palissade range showcases a hand-woven seat crafted from recycled polyester rope. These fabric ropes provide remarkable flexibility, adapting harmoniously to the furniture's silhouette and guaranteeing exceptional seating comfort, even without cushions. The weather-resistant coated steel structure forms a sleek frame that subtly interacts with the woven ropes. Inspired by 1960s woven plastic chairs, Palissade Cord reinterprets this aesthetic with a modern twist, creating an openwork surface that plays with light for a graphic, airy effect. Available as armchairs, benches, reclining chairs, and sofas, this collection integrates naturally into any outdoor environment, from city terraces to country gardens. When combined with other Palissade range pieces or HAY tables, it offers versatility and enduring elegance. The Bouroullec brothers, known for their refined, sustainable design approach, imbue each item with their distinct vision of space and functionality. Care instructions: To maintain the longevity and vibrancy of your Palissade Rope furniture, regular cleaning is advised. Use a soft cloth dampened with lukewarm water and a mild detergent. Avoid bleach or harsh chemical cleaners. After cleaning, allow the furniture to air dry in a well-ventilated area to prevent mildew. When not in use, using a Palissade protection cover is recommended to shield the furniture from UV rays and the elements, thereby extending its lifespan (cover sold separately).
