Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure the longevity of your Merrell trainers, begin by ensuring a proper fit; there should be a thumb's width of space between your longest toe and the front of the shoe. When cleaning, avoid using a washing machine, as this can degrade adhesives and structural foam. Instead, remove surface dirt with a soft-bristled brush, and wipe down the exterior with a damp cloth and mild, non-detergent soap. Always air-dry your shoes away from direct heat sources, such as radiators or fireplaces, to prevent material warping or cracking. If the insoles become damp, remove them to speed up the drying process.
