Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure your Clarks Code C Lace trainers maintain their condition, follow these guidelines:
- Initial Protection: Before wearing, consider applying a leather protector spray to the upper to help repel dirt and moisture.
- Cleaning: Wipe the leather surface with a soft, damp cloth. Use a leather-specific cleaner for tougher stains, avoiding harsh chemicals that may degrade the material.
- Storage: Store your trainers in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to prevent the leather from cracking or fading.
- Lacing: Adjust the laces to your desired tension. Ensure they are not pulled too tightly to avoid putting unnecessary pressure on the bridge of your foot.
- Maintenance: If the lining becomes damp, remove the laces and allow the shoes to air dry naturally away from heat sources like radiators.
