This Craghoppers Expert Kiwi Jacket is designed for adult males seeking comfortable, all-weather protection for everyday outdoor activities. Its key benefit is the combination of softshell comfort with reliable waterproof and wind-resistant features, making it a practical choice for unpredictable conditions. A potential caveat is that while waterproof, its primary design is for active use and may not offer extreme insulation for prolonged static exposure in very cold weather. The jacket features AquaDry Membrane technology for waterproofing, a H2OShield finish for water repellency, and a striped microfleece inner layer for warmth.

The jacket features AquaDry Membrane with a 10,000mm waterproof rating, making it suitable for moderate to heavy rain. For extreme downpours or prolonged exposure, additional protection might be needed.
Machine wash at 30°C on a gentle cycle with a small amount of liquid detergent. Avoid fabric softeners and bleach. Tumble dry on low heat or air dry.
It means the water-repellent finish is compliant with current regulations regarding PFAS chemicals, often utilizing more environmentally conscious alternatives.
The jacket provides warmth with its microfleece lining and wind resistance, but for freezing temperatures, layering with additional warm clothing underneath is recommended for extended periods outdoors.
Warranty information is typically provided by the retailer or manufacturer at the point of purchase. Please refer to your product documentation or the Craghoppers website for specific details.
Regular washing according to care instructions and occasional tumble drying on low heat helps maintain the DWR finish. For significant wear, applying a suitable re-waterproofing spray can restore performance.
Clean the jacket according to care instructions. Tumble dry on a low heat to reactivate the DWR finish. If performance is still low, consider applying a re-waterproofing treatment suitable for technical outerwear.
Gently try to move the zipper. If it remains stiff, use a graphite pencil to rub the teeth, or apply a small amount of wax (like beeswax or a candle) along the zipper track. Avoid using oily lubricants that could stain the fabric.
Ensure the jacket is fully dry after washing. If dampness persists during use, it may indicate high humidity or significant perspiration, which can exceed the membrane's breathability during intense activity. Allow the jacket to air out.
