Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: Simply connect the DVI-D male end of the cable to the DVI-D output port on your source device (e.g., graphics card, media player) and the other DVI-D male end to the DVI-D input port on your display device (e.g., monitor, projector). Secure the connection by tightening the thumb screws on both connectors. Ensure the devices are powered off before connecting or disconnecting the cable.
Compatibility: This is a DVI-D Dual Link cable. It is compatible with devices featuring DVI-D Dual Link ports. It is *not* compatible with DVI-I (Digital/Analog) or DVI-A (Analog) ports. Verify that both your source and display devices have the corresponding DVI-D Dual Link connectors.
Care: To maintain optimal performance, keep the connectors clean and free from dust. Avoid sharp bends or kinks in the cable. Store the cable in a dry environment away from extreme temperatures when not in use. Cleaning can be done with a dry, soft cloth; avoid using liquid cleaners directly on the connectors.
