Full details
The Nike Pegasus Premium trainers are designed for male adult runners seeking enhanced power, balance, and running momentum. Their key benefit is the innovative triple-stack cushioning system offering the most responsive Pegasus experience yet. A potential caveat is that the advanced cushioning might require a short break-in period for some users. This shoe features an engineered mesh upper for breathability, a full-length ZoomX foam, a sculpted Air Zoom unit, and a ReactX foam foundation, all contributing to a lightweight and high-performance running experience.

FAQs
What is the main difference between Pegasus and Pegasus Premium?
The Pegasus Premium features an enhanced, 'triple-stack' cushioning system that includes ZoomX foam, ReactX foam, and an Air Zoom unit for superior responsiveness and momentum, offering the most advanced Pegasus cushioning experience to date.
Are these shoes suitable for marathon running?
Yes, the combination of lightweight cushioning and responsive elements makes the Pegasus Premium suitable for marathon training and racing, providing comfort and energy return over long distances.
How do I clean my Nike Pegasus Premium trainers?
Clean the shoes using a soft brush or a damp cloth to remove dirt. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or putting them in a washing machine. Allow them to air dry naturally away from direct heat.
What is the heel-to-toe drop of these trainers?
The Nike Pegasus Premium has a 10mm heel-to-toe drop.
Can I use these shoes for gym workouts?
While the cushioning is excellent for running, the shoe's design is primarily optimized for linear motion. For lateral movements or weightlifting in the gym, dedicated training shoes might offer better stability.
What is the warranty period for Nike running shoes?
Nike typically offers a limited warranty against manufacturing defects. Specific warranty details can be found on the official Nike website or by contacting customer support.
How does the engineered mesh upper contribute to performance?
The engineered mesh upper is designed to be lightweight and highly breathable, which helps to keep your feet cool and comfortable during runs by allowing air to circulate freely.
Troubleshooting
Shoes feel too tight or uncomfortable.
Ensure you have selected the correct size. Try wearing them for short periods initially to allow them to break in. Lacing techniques can also be adjusted for a more personalized fit.
Reduced cushioning or responsiveness over time.
The foam cushioning materials naturally compress with use. Regular cleaning and proper storage can help maintain their properties. If performance significantly degrades, consider replacing the shoes after considerable mileage.
Traction issues on wet surfaces.
While the outsole provides good grip, wet conditions can reduce traction for any shoe. Proceed with caution on wet surfaces. Ensure the outsole is free from mud or debris that could affect grip.
