Product Information
Full details
The Snug City Flannelette Cotton Cot Bed Duvet Cover Set is designed for parents seeking a soft, warm, and breathable bedding solution to keep their little ones comfortable during colder autumn and winter nights. Made from high-quality brushed flannelette, this set offers excellent heat retention without the heavy weight of traditional winter blankets, ensuring a cozy sleep environment for infants. While the material is exceptionally gentle against the skin and durable through repeated washing, potential users should note that the fabric is specifically engineered for cooler temperatures and may be too warm for use in the height of summer.

Troubleshooting
Fabric feels less soft after multiple washes
Ensure you are using a gentle cycle and avoiding over-drying in a machine; air drying can help maintain the fibre quality.
Duvet shifting inside the cover
Ensure the duvet insert is properly flattened out and consider using corner ties or clips if your specific duvet insert includes them.
Pros and Cons
Pros
- Soft brushed texture is gentle on delicate skin
- Provides high warmth-to-weight ratio
- Maintains structural integrity after multiple washes
- Breathable material prevents overheating
- Easy to maintain and care for
Cons
- Not suitable for hot summer months
- Limited to one specific size configuration
- Requires proper care to prevent pilling over time
Setup, Compatibility & Care
To set up the bedding, simply slide your 120x150cm duvet insert into the cover and ensure the corners are aligned to prevent shifting. This set is compatible with most standard-sized cot beds. For long-term care, machine wash the set on a gentle cycle using a mild detergent. To keep the flannelette soft, avoid harsh bleach or high-temperature tumble drying, as consistent high heat can degrade the brushed fibres over time. Line drying is recommended when possible to preserve the fabric's soft texture and prevent excessive wear.
