FAQs

The Silentnight Lyon Headboard is available in Single, Double, King, and Super King sizes.
What colour options are available?
It is available in a choice of modern colours, including Black, Grey, Beige, and Brown, depending on the specific model.
How is the headboard attached to the bed?
The Lyon headboard is a strutted headboard, meaning it attaches to the bed frame using pre-drilled holes in its vertical supports (struts) and corresponding holes on a divan bed base.
What is the height of the headboard struts?
The fixed height for the headboard struts is 57cm.
Does the headboard come with fixings?
Typically, strutted headboards are designed to use the fixings that come with your bed base. Please check the product packaging or description for included hardware.
What is the warranty period for this headboard?
The Silentnight Lyon Headboard comes with a 5-year guarantee.
Is this headboard suitable for all bed types?
It is primarily designed for standard UK divan bed bases. Compatibility with bed frames that do not have pre-drilled holes for headboard struts may vary.
Troubleshooting
Headboard is wobbly or unstable.
Ensure all bolts and nuts connecting the struts to the bed base are tightened securely. Check that the bed base itself is stable and on a level surface.
Pre-drilled holes do not align.
The Lyon headboard is designed for standard divan bases. If holes do not align, you may need to purchase a universal headboard fitting kit or adjust the position slightly if your bed frame allows.
Fabric appears creased upon arrival.
The fabric may have settled during transit. Gently steam the fabric (from a distance, following fabric care guidelines) or allow it a few days to naturally smooth out. Lightly brush with a soft brush.

Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: The Silentnight Lyon Headboard is a strutted model. To install, simply align the pre-drilled holes on the headboard struts with the corresponding holes on the back of your divan bed base. Secure using the bolts and nuts provided (or those that came with your bed base). Ensure the headboard is firmly attached before use.
Compatibility: This headboard is designed to fit standard UK bed frames. It is available in Single (W90cm), Double (W135cm), King (W150cm), and Super King (W180cm) sizes. Always measure your bed frame and check the headboard dimensions to ensure a proper fit. The strut height is fixed at 57cm.
Care: To maintain the luxurious appearance of the hand-upholstered fabric, regular dusting with a soft, dry cloth is recommended. For minor spills, use a clean, slightly damp cloth and blot the area gently. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners, as these can damage the fabric. Professional cleaning may be required for stubborn stains.
