The Flex Runner features a mesh upper and elastic straps that offer some flexibility. However, they are designed as a standard-fit trainer and may not be ideal for very wide feet. It's recommended to try them on if possible.
You can gently clean the foam midsole with a damp cloth. For tougher marks, use a mild soap solution and a soft brush, then wipe clean with a damp cloth. Ensure the shoes are air-dried afterward.
The mesh upper provides excellent breathability and ventilation, helping to keep the child's feet cool and comfortable, especially during active play or warm weather.
While the Nike Flex Runner offers good cushioning and traction for general activities, they are primarily designed for training and casual wear. They may not provide the necessary ankle support for high-impact sports like basketball.
The pull tabs are designed for regular use to assist with putting the shoes on. They are made from durable materials, but excessive force or improper use could lead to wear over time.
These trainers are designed for kids, typically from toddler to younger children's sizes, focusing on ease of use and comfort for active play.
The Flex Runner features a foam midsole that provides cushioning and basic support. For children requiring specific orthopedic arch support, consulting with a specialist or looking for models with enhanced insoles might be necessary.
Ensure the correct size has been purchased. The elastic straps may need a short break-in period. Try wearing thinner socks.
Ensure the elastic straps are fully stretched. Use the heel pull tab effectively. For very first wears, a slight wiggle might be needed.
Check the rubber sole for excessive wear or embedded debris. Clean the sole with a damp cloth. Ensure the surface is not unusually slippery.
Gently spot clean with a damp cloth and mild soap if necessary. Allow to air dry completely.
Setup:
These trainers require no specific setup. Simply ensure the correct size is chosen for a comfortable fit. The elastic straps and pull tabs are designed for immediate use.
Compatibility:
The Nike Flex Runner is designed for general athletic and casual use. They are compatible with various types of children's activewear and casual clothing.
