Troubleshooting
Buttons coming undone
Ensure that the duvet insert is not too large for the cover, which can put unnecessary tension on the button closures.
Foil print fading after washing
Always turn the item inside out before washing and use a gentle cycle with a mild detergent.
Duvet shifting inside the cover
Check that all buttons are fully secured and consider using duvet clips if your insert is particularly slippery.
Pros and Cons
Pros
- Sophisticated foil print finish
- Convenient button closure for easy use
- Machine washable for easy maintenance
- Coordinated set provides a polished look
Cons
- Foil print requires delicate care during laundry
- Limited to specific color aesthetics
- Button closures may take longer to secure than zipper alternatives
Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setting up the duvet cover is straightforward: turn the cover inside out, insert your duvet, and secure the internal button closures starting from the center to ensure even distribution. For compatibility, ensure you verify your duvet insert size against the cover dimensions prior to purchase to prevent bunching. To maintain the integrity of the foil print, always turn the cover inside out before placing it in the washing machine. Use a gentle cycle with cold water and avoid harsh detergents or bleach. It is recommended to line dry the set or use a very low heat setting in the dryer to preserve the foil finish.
