FAQs
What are the exact dimensions?
The mirror measures 60 cm in height and 59 cm in width.
Is the gold finish shiny or matte?
The gold finish is designed to have a luxurious, polished aesthetic that complements the reflective qualities of the mirror.
Can this be hung in a bathroom?
It is not recommended for high-humidity areas, as moisture may settle in the joints between the mirror segments.
Does it come with mounting hardware?
Please verify the contents of your specific packaging, as standard mounting screws are generally required based on the specific material of your wall.
Is this mirror heavy?
Given the inclusion of multiple faceted mirror segments, it has a substantial feel. It should be mounted on a secure stud or with appropriate wall anchors.
Is there a different color available?
Yes, there is a black variant available (MPN: 3759) that features the same geometric design.
Troubleshooting
Mirror appears distorted in light
This is a characteristic of the faceted design. If you feel it is excessive, check if the mirror is mounted level to ensure the light hits the panels uniformly.
Dust collecting in the joints
Use a soft-bristled brush or a compressed air canister to gently dislodge dust from between the faceted segments.
Pros and Cons
Pros
- Sophisticated geometric aesthetic that functions as wall art
- Effective at brightening dark spaces by refracting light through its facets
- Compact enough for hallways yet bold enough for a living room centerpiece
- High-quality gold finish provides a luxurious and warm tone
Cons
- Faceted segments require more effort to clean than single-pane glass
- Not suitable for extremely humid environments like bathrooms to avoid moisture collection in joints
- The intricate frame does not allow for full-frame edge-to-edge reflection
Setup, Compatibility & Care
Installation requires standard wall-mounting hardware capable of supporting the mirror's weight. Ensure you use appropriate wall anchors based on your wall type (drywall, brick, or concrete).
Care Instructions:
- Use a soft, lint-free microfiber cloth to remove dust from the facets.
- Apply a streak-free glass cleaner specifically designed for mirrors sparingly to a cloth first—do not spray directly on the mirror to prevent liquid from seeping into the panel joints.
- Avoid using abrasive sponges or harsh chemicals that could damage the gold frame finish.
