FAQs

What is the Quicklace system?

The Quicklace system is a minimalist, strong lace for one-pull tightening. It allows for easy-on, easy-off, and a secure, customized fit.

How do I clean my Salomon XT-6 shoes?

Brush off loose dirt, then use a mild soap and water solution with a soft cloth for stubborn marks. Air dry at room temperature away from direct heat.

Are these shoes suitable for running?

While the XT-6 offers excellent cushioning and traction, it's generally categorized as a lifestyle shoe with trail-running DNA. It's suitable for light trail running, urban use, and varied outdoor activities.

What does 'multi-directional tractional quality' mean?

This refers to the outsole's design, which uses strategically placed lugs (patterns) that grip effectively in multiple directions, providing stable footing on diverse and uneven terrain.

What is EnergyCell technology?

EnergyCell is a high-rebound midsole compound from Salomon that provides exceptional energy return along with substantial cushioning and durability.

Is the sizing true to fit?

Salomon sizing is generally consistent. However, we recommend checking Salomon's official size guide and considering your foot shape to ensure the best fit for this UK 7 variant.

Troubleshooting

Quicklace system feels too tight or loose

Adjust the toggle and slide it up or down to achieve an even, comfortable tension across your foot. Ensure the lace is not snagged anywhere.

Shoes feel less comfortable after extended use

The OrthoLite insoles are designed for durability, but consider removing them periodically for cleaning or inspection. If significant wear is evident, replacement insoles can restore comfort.

Lack of grip on certain surfaces

Inspect the dynamic lugged rubber outsoles for accumulated dirt or debris between the lugs. Clean them thoroughly with a brush and water to restore optimal traction.
