Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: These boots feature a standard lace closure system. Ensure they are laced snugly but comfortably to allow for natural foot movement while providing adequate support. The Primeknit collar should fit comfortably around the ankle without restricting circulation.
Compatibility: The ControlFrame 2.0 soleplate is specifically designed for Firm Ground (FG) surfaces. This means they are best suited for natural grass pitches that are slightly damp or dry and not excessively long. Using these boots on artificial grass, hard ground, or very wet/muddy pitches may lead to premature wear and reduced performance, and potentially increase the risk of injury.
Care:
- Cleaning: After use, remove excess dirt with a soft brush or damp cloth. Avoid using harsh detergents or abrasive cleaners, as these can damage the materials.
- Drying: Allow the boots to air dry naturally at room temperature. Do not place them near direct heat sources like radiators or use hairdryers, as this can warp the materials.
- Storage: Store the boots in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Using a shoe bag can help protect them.
- Soleplate Finish: Be aware that the lacquer finish on the bottom of the boot may wear off during play. This is a cosmetic effect and does not impact the performance or structural integrity of the boot.
