FAQs

Is this rug suitable for pets?

Yes, the durable synthetic fiber blend is generally resilient to pet activity. Regular cleaning is recommended to manage pet hair and any potential accidents.

Can this rug be used in a bathroom?

While it is an outdoor rug and resistant to moisture, it's not specifically designed for high-humidity bathroom environments where it might remain damp for extended periods. Ensure adequate ventilation and drying if used in such areas.

What is the texture of the rug?

The rug has a pleasant feel due to the combination of PET and viscose materials, offering a smooth yet durable surface.

How do I clean mud or dirt from the outdoor use?

For mud or dirt, allow it to dry first, then brush off the loose debris. Vacuum the area. If needed, use a mild soap and water solution, blot, and allow to air dry completely.

What are the dimensions of this specific rug?

This specific variant measures 200cm in height and 140cm in width.

Does the grey color have any undertones?

The grey is described as subtle, designed for harmonious integration, suggesting a neutral tone that should complement various color palettes.

Troubleshooting

Rug not lying flat

Ensure the rug is placed on a flat surface. Roll the rug tightly in the opposite direction of the creases for a few hours, or place heavy objects on the corners to help it settle.

Stains or spills on the rug

Blot spills immediately with a clean, dry cloth. For persistent stains, use a mild soap and water solution. Test the solution on a small, hidden area first. Blot gently and allow to air dry fully. Avoid harsh chemicals.

Fading or discoloration

While designed for outdoor use, prolonged direct sunlight can cause fading. Rotate the rug periodically and consider storing it indoors during peak sun exposure or extreme weather.

Wear and tear in high-traffic areas

Regular vacuuming (without beater bar) helps maintain the fibers. Rotate the rug every few months to ensure even wear.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Setup:

Unroll the rug in its desired location. Allow it to lie flat for a few hours to allow creases from packaging to dissipate. If needed, gently roll the rug in the opposite direction of the creases to help it settle.

Compatibility:

This rug is designed for both indoor and outdoor use. It is compatible with most floor types, including hardwood, tile, laminate, and concrete. For optimal performance, especially in high-moisture outdoor areas, ensure the surface beneath it allows for adequate drainage and airflow.

Care Instructions:

Regular Vacuuming: Vacuum regularly without the beater bar to remove surface dust and debris.
Spot Cleaning: For spills, blot immediately with a clean, dry cloth. For tougher stains, use a mild soap and water solution, testing on an inconspicuous area first. Blot gently and allow to air dry completely.
Outdoor Use: While durable, prolonged exposure to harsh weather elements may affect longevity. It's advisable to store the rug indoors during extreme weather conditions or extended periods of non-use.
Avoid Harsh Chemicals: Do not use bleach or strong cleaning agents, as they can damage the fibers and color.
