Full details
This Galerie Colette Wallpaper in Blue is ideal for homeowners seeking a sophisticated, traditional aesthetic with a modern twist. Its key benefit lies in the elegant floral damask design layered over a Moire effect silk imitation, offering a luxurious feel. A potential caveat is its wide width on a shorter than standard roll, which may require specific application techniques. This washable, dry-strippable wallpaper boasts good lightfastness and is designed to enhance living spaces with its refined pattern.

FAQs
What type of adhesive should I use?
Use a high-quality wallpaper adhesive specifically recommended for paper or non-woven wallpapers. Follow the adhesive manufacturer's instructions for mixing and application.
Is this wallpaper suitable for a bathroom?
While the wallpaper is washable and has good lightfastness, it is not specifically designed for high-moisture environments like bathrooms. Excessive humidity could affect its adhesion and longevity. It is best suited for dry living areas.
How do I clean the wallpaper?
Gently wipe the surface with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials, which can damage the finish. Dry any damp areas immediately.
What does 'Dry Strippable' mean?
Dry Strippable means that when you decide to redecorate, the wallpaper can be peeled off the wall in dry strips, usually without leaving significant residue or damaging the underlying wall surface.
What are the exact dimensions of the roll?
The wallpaper has a width of 69.0 cm. The height is shorter than a standard roll, specific dimensions are H: 823.0 x W: 69.0 x D: 0.0 cm, though the height listed is likely a product code or measurement and not the actual roll length.
What is the warranty period for this wallpaper?
The Galerie Colette Wallpaper comes with a 1-year guarantee.
Can I apply this wallpaper over existing wallpaper?
Yes, you can apply this wallpaper over existing, well-adhered wallpaper, provided the surface is smooth, dry, and sound. It's always best to test in an inconspicuous area first.
Troubleshooting
Bubbles or creases appear during application
Smooth out bubbles immediately using a wallpaper brush or smoothing tool, working from the center outwards. Ensure adhesive is evenly applied and the surface is properly prepared.
Pattern does not align correctly
Carefully adjust the position of the wallpaper panel before the adhesive sets. For subsequent panels, ensure the pattern repeat is matched accurately. Measure twice, cut once.
Wallpaper does not adhere to the wall
Check that the correct adhesive has been used and applied evenly. Ensure the wall surface is porous enough to accept the adhesive. Re-apply adhesive to the wall or the back of the wallpaper if necessary.
Color appears different than expected
View the wallpaper in different lighting conditions in your room. Remember that monitor settings can affect color perception. Obtain a sample if possible for accurate color matching before full purchase.

Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: Ensure walls are clean, dry, and free from dust or grease before application. Use a suitable wallpaper adhesive recommended for non-woven or paper-backed wallpapers. Due to the wide width (69.0 cm) and potentially shorter roll length, careful measurement and planning are essential to minimize waste and ensure pattern alignment. It is recommended to cut wallpaper panels slightly longer than the wall height to allow for trimming.
Compatibility: This wallpaper is suitable for application on most prepared interior walls. It is compatible with plaster, drywall, and previously papered surfaces (provided the old paper is sound and well-adhered).
Care: To clean, gently wipe with a damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or excessive moisture, as this may damage the wallpaper. For stubborn marks, a mild soap solution can be used sparingly. Ensure the surface is dried quickly. As it is dry strippable, removal at the end of its lifespan should be straightforward.
