Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure the longevity of your Smeg frying pan, follow these care guidelines:
- Pre-Heating: Always allow the pan to heat gradually. Avoid 'thermal shock' by not placing a cold pan onto a high-heat burner.
- Utensils: Although the ceramic coating is robust, use silicone or wooden utensils to maintain the non-stick integrity over the long term.
- Cleaning: While the pan is dishwasher safe, hand washing with mild soap and a soft sponge is recommended to preserve the finish.
- Compatibility: The patented base is designed to work on all induction, gas, electric, and ceramic hobs.
- Storage: Avoid stacking other pans directly on top of the coating. If you must stack them, use a felt pan protector to prevent scratches.
