Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
- Locate Mounting Points: Determine the desired and most stable location for the grab bar, ensuring it aligns with wall studs for maximum security if possible.
- Mark Holes: Use a pencil to mark the screw hole positions on the wall.
- Drill Holes: Drill pilot holes at the marked locations. Use appropriate drill bits for your wall type (e.g., drywall, tile).
- Secure Bar: Align the grab bar with the pilot holes and use the included screws to firmly attach it to the wall. Ensure all screws are tightened securely.
Compatibility:
This grab bar is designed to be mounted on most standard wall surfaces, including drywall, plaster, tile, and wood. For optimal stability, mounting directly into wall studs is recommended. Ensure the wall surface is structurally sound to support the intended weight.
Care:
Clean the grab bar regularly with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or scouring pads, as these can damage the powder-coated finish. Wipe dry with a clean cloth after cleaning to prevent water spots.
