FAQs

Are these suitable for wearing outdoors?

The UGG Capitola Cross Slide is best suited for indoor wear and light outdoor use, such as quick trips. The sole offers some durability, but prolonged exposure to wet or rough conditions may affect the sheepskin.

How do I know if I have the correct size?

Refer to the UGG sizing guide for men. These slides should feel snug but comfortable. The sheepskin will relax and stretch slightly with wear.

Can I wash these in a washing machine?

No, machine washing is not recommended as it can damage the sheepskin and the overall structure of the slide.

How do I clean the black sheepskin?

Spot clean with a damp cloth and a mild soap or specialized sheepskin cleaner. Gently brush with a soft brush after cleaning. Always air dry away from heat.

What is the main difference between this model and other UGG slippers?

The Capitola Cross Slide features a more open design with secure cross-straps, making it suitable for a wider range of foot shapes and offering more stability than a slip-on clog style.

Will the black color fade?

With proper care and avoiding direct sunlight for extended periods, the black color should remain vibrant. Use products designed for colored leather or sheepskin if cleaning.

Troubleshooting

Slippers feel too tight initially

Sheepskin naturally stretches and molds to your foot with wear. Wear them for short periods initially to allow them to break in.

Discoloration or marks on sheepskin

Use a specialized sheepskin cleaner and a soft brush. Test any cleaning product on an inconspicuous area first. Avoid harsh chemicals.

Slippers feel slippery on smooth floors

Ensure the sole is clean and dry. Some minor slippage may occur on very polished surfaces. Ensure you have a secure footing.
