Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: Unroll the rug completely and allow it to lay flat for at least 24-48 hours to help remove creases from packaging. Place it in your desired location, ensuring the anti-slip backing makes good contact with the floor.
Compatibility: The PVC dot anti-slip backing is designed to work effectively on most hard floor surfaces, including laminate, wood, tile, and linoleum. It is generally compatible with underfloor heating, but always check with your underfloor heating manufacturer for specific recommendations regarding rug use.
Care:
- Regular Vacuuming: Vacuum regularly using a suction-only setting (no beater bar) to maintain the pile's loft and remove surface dirt.
- Spot Cleaning: For minor spills, blot immediately with a clean, dry cloth. Use a mild detergent solution and a damp cloth for tougher stains, working from the outside of the stain inwards. Avoid over-wetting the pile.
- Professional Cleaning: For deep cleaning, we recommend professional rug cleaning services.
- Fibre Maintenance: Gently shake the rug outdoors periodically to dislodge dust and debris. If fibres become matted, use a soft brush to gently lift and restore their texture.
