Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure your jacket remains in top condition, follow these guidelines:
- Cleaning: Wash in a machine on a gentle cycle using a technical detergent designed for synthetic insulated gear. Avoid using fabric softeners, as these can strip the DWR finish.
- Drying: Air dry whenever possible. If using a dryer, select the lowest heat setting and use dryer balls to help fluff the synthetic padding back to its original loft.
- Re-treating: After several washes, you may notice water no longer beads off the surface. Use a spray-on DWR replenishment treatment to restore the water-shedding performance.
- Storage: Store in a cool, dry place on a hanger to prevent the insulation from becoming compressed over long periods.
