The lining is made from 100% recycled polyester taffeta, ensuring a smooth, comfortable feel against the skin or other layers.
The jacket is excellent for light walking and casual use, but for high-altitude or extreme winter hiking, you may require more technical, specialized thermal layers.
Tumble dry on low heat with dryer balls or clean tennis balls to fluff the synthetic fibers back to their original loft.
The DWR (Durable Water Repellent) coating may have worn off; apply a garment-safe re-proofing spray and follow the manufacturer's reactivation instructions.
Because this jacket is pre-assembled, no setup is required beyond ensuring you select the correct size for your layering needs. For care, it is recommended to machine wash on a gentle cycle using a mild detergent; avoid using fabric softeners as they can impair the water-resistant coating. To restore the loft of the synthetic insulation after washing, tumble dry on a low setting with clean tennis balls to prevent clumping. Always check the internal care label for specific temperature settings before cleaning.
