The nylon shell provides good protection against light precipitation, but it is not a fully waterproof technical rain jacket.
No, this garment requires professional dry cleaning to maintain the specialized nylon fabric and down insulation.
Store it in a breathable garment bag, away from direct sunlight, in a cool and dry closet.
Yes, the hood is detachable, allowing you to change the aesthetic of the jacket as needed.
Use the adjustable hemline drawcords located at the waist to tighten the jacket against the wind.
Small amounts of shedding can occur; gently pull the feather back inside from the inside of the jacket rather than pulling it through the surface.
Do not force the snaps; check for debris in the mechanism and ensure they are aligned correctly before pressing.
Allow the jacket to hang freely in a well-ventilated area; the down will naturally loft back into shape over time.
To ensure the longevity of your Moncler Maya jacket, proper care is essential. The jacket is not machine washable; professional dry cleaning is strictly recommended to preserve the quality of the down and the integrity of the nylon shell. When not in use, store the jacket in a breathable garment bag in a cool, dry place to prevent compression of the down. Avoid hanging it near heat sources. For daily maintenance, you can gently wipe away surface dirt with a soft, slightly damp cloth, but avoid using harsh detergents or brushes.
