The Regatta Frankie Fleece Gilet is designed for adult males seeking comfortable and practical layering for cooler weather. Its key benefit is providing warmth and protection with a soft feel, making it ideal for everyday wear and outdoor activities. A potential caveat is its specific use case, primarily for warmth rather than heavy-duty weather resistance. This gilet features soft microfleece for comfort and durable poplin overlays for added protection, making it a versatile choice for transitional weather.

No, the Regatta Frankie Fleece Gilet is not waterproof. It is designed for warmth and comfort, offering protection against light breezes but not rain.
It is suitable for casual wear, weekend walks, daily commutes, and as a layering piece in cooler weather.
You should machine wash it at 30°C, avoid bleach, and tumble dry on a low heat setting. Do not dry clean.
It can be worn in cold weather as a mid-layer for added insulation under a heavier jacket. It provides core warmth but is not intended as an outer layer for extreme cold on its own.
The durable poplin overlays provide added protection and enhance the longevity of the gilet in areas prone to wear.
This guide specifically covers the Blue variant. Please check product listings for other available colors.
Check for any fabric caught in the zipper teeth. Gently try to free the fabric. If it persists, apply a small amount of graphite (from a pencil) or wax to the zipper teeth.
Ensure you have selected the correct size. Refer to the sizing chart for Regatta products. The gilet is designed for layering, so consider the thickness of the garments worn underneath.
Follow the care instructions carefully, especially regarding washing temperature and avoiding high heat drying or harsh detergents. Washing inside out can also help minimize pilling.
This gilet requires no specific setup. It is designed to be worn as a layer over other clothing.
