Yes, provided the concrete is properly cleaned, dried, and primed with a compatible masonry or floor primer.
While the paint is washable, it is primarily designed for high-traffic interior wood and metal; ensure good ventilation if used in humid environments.
The formula is designed to be quick-drying, though exact times depend on temperature and humidity.
As a water-based, plant-based paint, it is significantly safer than traditional solvent-based paints once fully cured.
No, the Blackout 41 Floor Satin is formulated to be self-sealing and durable on its own.
No, this specific product is engineered for a 40% satin finish. For different looks, consider other variants in the Mylands range like Dead Matt or Eggshell.
Ensure the surface was sanded and thoroughly cleaned to remove dust, grease, or wax before painting.
Use a high-quality synthetic brush or a short-nap roller, and maintain a 'wet edge' while painting to allow the paint to level properly.
Check that the surface is properly primed and apply a second coat once the first is fully dry.
To ensure maximum adhesion and longevity, surfaces must be clean, dry, and free of dust or oils before application. If applying to bare wood or metal, use a suitable primer to create an optimal bond. For previously painted surfaces, a light sanding will improve the mechanical bond of the satin coat. Always use high-quality brushes or rollers to achieve a smooth, professional finish. During the curing phase, avoid heavy foot traffic or deep cleaning for at least 48-72 hours. Regular maintenance involves simply wiping the surface with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap; avoid abrasive chemicals that could compromise the satin sheen.
