Setup
Putting on your laceless Predator Elite boots is straightforward. Ensure your socks are pulled up correctly. Gently slide your foot into the boot, using the pull tab on the Primeknit collar if needed to guide your foot in. The Primeknit collar will adapt to your ankle, providing a snug, secure fit. There are no laces to tie, so once your foot is comfortably in, you're ready to play.
Compatibility
These boots are specifically designed for Firm Ground (FG) surfaces. This means they are best suited for natural grass pitches that are dry or slightly damp. Using them on artificial grass (AG), turf, or indoor surfaces may compromise their performance, durability, and could potentially void any warranty due to inappropriate use. Always check the playing surface before wearing your FG boots.
Care
Proper care will extend the life and maintain the performance of your adidas Predator Elite Laceless FG boots:
- Cleaning After Use: After each match or training session, wipe off dirt and mud using a soft brush or damp cloth. For stubborn mud, a mild soap solution can be used. Avoid harsh detergents or abrasive materials, which can damage the HybridTouch upper and grip elements.
- Drying: Allow the boots to air dry naturally at room temperature. Do not expose them to direct heat sources like radiators or direct sunlight, as this can cause the materials to crack or shrink. Stuffing them with newspaper can help absorb moisture and maintain their shape.
- Storage: Store your boots in a cool, dry place, ideally in a boot bag or box, away from extreme temperatures. Avoid leaving them in direct sunlight for prolonged periods.
- Inspecting: Periodically check the studs and soleplate for any signs of wear or damage. While the lacquer finish on the soleplate may wear off, this is cosmetic and does not affect performance.
