Full details

This tung oil-based wood finish from Rustins is available in gloss and satin finishes. It is suitable for all types of exterior hard and soft woodwork such as doors, window frames, cladding, and marine woodwork. The varnish offers good resistance to rain, sunlight, frost, salt, and chemically polluted atmospheres. It provides a high degree of flexibility, giving enhanced protection against cracking, checking, and loss of adhesion. The product conforms to the Safety of Toys Regulations BS EN 71 Part 3 1995. Surfaces to be varnished must be dry, clean, smooth, and free from dust, oil, grease, and other contaminants. Cracks can be filled. The varnish has excellent adhesion and will not flake or peel when correctly applied.
