Product Information

Full details

The Flexi New Neon Tape Dog Lead is designed for dog owners who prioritize safety and visibility during walks, especially in low-light conditions. Its key benefit is enhanced safety through highly reflective elements and neon colors, ensuring you and your dog are seen from a distance. A caveat is its suitability for dogs up to 25kg, making it less ideal for very large breeds. This retractable lead features a 5-meter tape, a comfortable braking system, and can be customized with an optional Multi Box.

FAQs

What is the maximum weight capacity for this lead?

This lead is suitable for dogs weighing up to a maximum of 25 kg.

How long is the tape?

The tape lead is 5 meters long.

How do the reflective elements work?

The reflective stickers are made with microprisms that reflect light, such as headlights, making the lead and your dog highly visible in dark conditions from a considerable distance.

Can I attach anything to the lead?

Yes, the Flexi Multi Box (sold separately) can be attached to the side of the lead housing to carry treats or waste bags.

How do I clean the Flexi New Neon lead?

Wipe the lead housing and tape with a damp cloth. Do not use strong cleaning agents. Allow it to air dry completely before retracting the tape.

What are the main colors of this lead?

The lead features black and green components, with neon elements and reflective stickers for visibility.

Is this lead suitable for puppies?

While suitable for dogs up to 25kg, it is recommended to use leads appropriate for a puppy's training stage. This lead is best suited for adult dogs within its weight limit.

Troubleshooting

Tape does not retract smoothly

Ensure the tape is not twisted or caught on anything. Check for dirt or debris on the tape and clean it if necessary. Make sure the lead is fully extended before attempting to retract.

Braking system feels stiff

The braking mechanism may require a short break-in period. Ensure you are pressing the brake button correctly. If the issue persists, clean the mechanism gently with a dry cloth.

Reflective stickers are peeling

Gently press the stickers back into place. Avoid excessive bending or abrasion of the stickers. If they are significantly damaged, contact customer support.

Lead feels heavy or bulky

This lead weighs approximately 300g. If it feels too heavy for your preference, consider lighter models or leads without additional features like the Multi Box.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Setup: The Flexi New Neon Tape Dog Lead comes ready for use. Simply unclip the carabiner from its housing and attach it to your dog's collar or harness. Ensure the attachment is secure.

Compatibility: This lead is designed for dogs up to 25kg. It is compatible with the Flexi Multi Box, which can be purchased separately and attached to the side of the lead housing for convenience.

Care: To clean the lead, wipe the housing and tape with a damp cloth. Avoid using harsh detergents. Allow the lead to dry completely before retracting the tape fully.
